Some Kind Words

You guide me to knowing myself and where I need to go to feel better rather than telling me where to go, and that works for me.

Girl with complex post traumatic stress disorder.

I can’t believe how far we have come, my Mum has told me how much I have changed and wants to thank you too!

30 year old client with CPTSD, anxiety and Autism.

His behaviour has improved tenfold, his speech has gone gang busters, his social and play skills have majorly improved.

Parents of a 4 year old boy

Thank you for all your help. We are so grateful that you put yourself out for us so much and have been so touched by your caring approach. You will change a lot of people’s lives for the better.

Mother of a boy with anxiety, Aspergers and behavioural difficulties.

You ask such good questions and give such helpful and wise strategies and suggestions.

25 year old client who is on the spectrum, has CPTSD and borderline personality disorder.

You have been the first person that has opened up with and actually enjoyed seeing and I really hope she can continue to see you soon. We feel blessed to have found you.

Mother of a 15 year old girl.

From our first conversation on the phone I felt Dr Whitehouse had the capability to ask the right questions and made me feel at ease. During our first meeting I was also very impressed with how she handled our son who is very selective with people… we now have a much happier child…since visiting Dr Whitehouse my son’s behaviour has improved noticeably and I am very grateful for her work. I would happily recommend her services to others.

Parent of a child with Aspergers.

…she said she found the session really helpful, please can you let us know when you can see her again?

Mother of an adolescent girl who is on the spectrum.

Toby, we wanted to say a huge thank you for all your help with (our son’s) jumping, along with all the other work you’ve been doing with him. He is so happy and proud showing us his independent jumping!

Mother of 5 year old on the spectrum.

(Our son) enjoyed immensely the time that you spent with him. The painting was clearly a source of joy for him, as was the way you used his preferred movies as an entry way to movement and music.

We have seen major improvements in his engagement away from screen time. He transitions away from the computer more quickly and easily, and actively seeks out non screen pursuits.

Mother of young adult on the spectrum.

We are grateful to have people like you in (our child’s) life, you have a rare ability to help these special kids. You are literally changing lives each and every day and we cannot thank you enough.

Mother of pre-schooler on the spectrum.

Thanks for being an amazing role model, teacher, supporter and cheer leader. (Our child) has had an incredible year and we owe a massive thanks to you.

Parents of a 4 year old.

We came to you after several years of seeking support from a variety of health and mental care professionals, without ever feeling like we were getting to the bottom of (our son’s) anxieties and behavioural issues. He was more desperately anxious than ever, and it felt like we had reached crisis point as a family.

A massive thank you for everything you have done for [my daughter] over the past year, you have helped and guided her immensely and I cannot tell you how much I appreciate it…

Mother of a 17 year old with sensory difficulties, Autism and anxiety

Therapy has been so useful due to helping me process the diagnosis- you made me think even when I didn’t want to…I didn’t have a lot of emotional intelligence before working with you. Previously I could not see and understand being Autistic. Now I give myself the time and space to work it out if I don’t know what I’m feeling- it has been life changing.

34 year old woman.
